Angola Africa

At the Brazilian shore, Asana and a small group of slaves are able to escape into the jungle where Asana is injured near death. A trio of Brazilian Indians find Asana’s body and reluctantly took him into their care. When Zurko and his army venture into the murderous Brazilian jungle to kidnap more villagers to fill their quota; Asana and his new family are posed with the question how can a village defy an empire?

This is a very adventurous and enlightening book. I've heard of the fighting style of Capoeira but never thought I would see a book about it, and mixed with history at that! The historic and significant mix of culture, history and diversity make this an enlightening tale. Mixing the elements of honor, passion and the warrior spirit gives you a "conquer the world and be proud" feeling after you hear the end of this tale. I highly recommend this to one who enjoys adventurous and culturally unique tales!
